I love creating educator guides as my family & I often do them together. Always happy to help educators get more books into the classrooms in meaningful ways. Honored by this feedback from Jarret J. Krosoczka .See many of the guides here-more are on the way soon! www.historycomics.net/guidesarticles

My favorite thing to do is to get a topic from a client and go down the rabbit hole. Having a lot of fun today doing research for an awesome project to be shared soon. I also love that now I get to involve my History major daughter in my research!
Happy August. Gotta get my teacher faces back in working order. LOL. I’m excited for a new year and new opportunity and ways to make a difference. I wish everyone a great year!

If, like me, you were disappointed in the missing “no man” joke in the movie, I bring you the awesomeness of the 1953 Classics Illustrated. I love the words on the last page! For more Odyssey resources, read my blog - www.historycomics.net/timsmythblog
I am in love with this book! So many fantastical ways to incorporate into classes! Somehow, the entire story makes sense, even though it’s all in palindromes! Witty imagination that will encourage students to create their own stories - and to think deeply:
This is the answer to “why comics?” in the classroom. These kids are in your classes - my younger self was and needed this community.

I have three huge meetings today. One is about setting up my LLC and a nonprofit …. Stay tuned. Love that I’m in my Batcave office and wearing the t-shirt my daughter designed for these meetings!
Stunning art and colors. Historical connections that I’ll use for the Cold War. Perhaps even a conversation for Bio class about alternative human evolution?

If you’re in the T Tock app… I could use your help in getting some views. As an introvert, it isn’t easy for me to share videos instead of images, but I’m going to do more video posts.
Out today! OMG! Doom time travels and becomes George Washington… I won’t spoil the story - but it’s amazing! Going into my classroom and lesson planning. Wow!
