I just spent a stupid amount of money for a monthly from 1987 bc of this Zelda poster I want to scan. Add to the cost: I bought the issue before only to find the poster missing. This will be the most I've ever spent for one piece of #zelda art. I'm not doing the math, I'll hate myself too much.

Crowd sourcing this to save me some time looking: Is there a free translation site that doesn't use AI, where it just works like how they all use to work? I still need something, mostly just for Japanese artist names and publication titles, but I don't want to feed into the AI beast. Thanks y'all!

Even with just auxiliary print/publications I've spent nearly 25 years trying to fly under the radar just so stuff isn't noticed and then taken down. Which means, POOF, gone forever. Because pretty much only one other person does this for Zelda. & actual games themselves are so much more harrowing!

As the director of a historical video game preservation institution, and someone who has dedicated his entire adult life to this cause, this is accurate.
