The roar from Flygon caught both Archer and his partner's attention immediately. He narrowed his brows at the direction of the dragon. "Come on out. I'm not in the mood to be playing any games today.."

(‘...no way whatever just happened was normal. And he's really actin' like it is. ...I gotta know.’) Wes would ready a Pokeball, clutching it close before tossing it up in the air, letting out Flygon once more. The dragon spreads its wings, and lets out a loud roar to get the bird's attention.

wings tucked at his side while the flames dimmed just enough so he wouldn't set any grass on fire. He took out a few pokebuffs for his partner, holding his hand out so he knew that not only was he rewarded, but he had energy for the next battle - whenever that was.

(‘...not gettin' good vibes from him...’) Wes would dismount Flygon, landing with a silent puff of dust before recalling the dragon to its ball. Once he was on the ground, he darted a bit closer, keeping behind whatever cover he could while listening in.

Once the area was clear, Archer called for his Pokemon to come closer. He checked the device on his wrist and looked at Moltres. "So far you have balanced vitals and you're still calm. Good. At this pace, no one will be a match for you."

“..? Lady, you're wearing a Camerupt onesie and a fuckin' swimsuit underneath. I'm more interested than anythin'. Don't think fear would ever be part a' this.” Shrug.

“Damn right I do. Makuhita left a helluva bruise on me...” Not the first time he'd been attacked by a Pokémon, but damn did it hurt. “So this speeds things up, I get that. But the catchin' has to happen first. So where are they.”

“...just what in the hell..?” Flygon was still incredibly wary, having landed behind whatever parts of the landscape were still intact, be it a bush, a boulder- anything. That was definitely a Moltres... but something was off. And the way it just... overwhelmed, obliterated those Pokémon... 》

Archer made a few adjustments to Moltres, his wings burning brighter than they were a moment ago. "Moltres, use Hyper Beam!" The legendary bird lets out a high pitched scream, letting lose a bright beam of energy towards the pair, knocking both Pokemon out.

“Mega What-now..? Oh, that.” He barely knows about it. Just that it's something to do with Evolution, but temporary..? He'll ask someone later. “Well, makin' more doesn't really sound great. Just sounds like more to run after and wrangle up...”

"Exactly the case Wes. Once all the slots are filled and a steady flow runs through it'll help with purifying the Shadow Pokemon. I don't get the exact mechanics and honestly I prefer doing it my own way. But considering I have over 30 Shadow Pokemon to purify. I can't them all by hand."

Wes couldn't even utter a word in time- Flygon had taken the reins once again, flapping its wings and flailing its tail around erratically as it dodged a few splinters and branches... But then came whatever flew sky-high. On its way back down, looking right about to crush the trainer... 》

but he soon returned back to Archer's side, glaring at the three Pokemon. Butterfree collapsed and the other two were in critical condition. Archer waited a few moments, waiting to see if either of the Pokemon had the nerve to attack in return.

“Sonnuva-!! Flygon, for cryin' out-” It was at this moment, trying desperately to pilot Flygon with minimal experience, that both Wes and his Pokémon stop dead in the air, Flygon hovering in place as it noticed the disturbance. “...that was weird. Did you wanna-” Before Wes can finish, Flygon 》

The corner of his lips curved into a wicked grin. This was going to be fun to watch. "Moltres, use Sky Attack!" In a matter of seconds Moltres was flying high into the clouds that a fireball with wings, preparing for his quick rush back down.

"Because I don't have any Shadow Pokemon right now. Basically how it works I set the Shadow Pokemon in the center. Then I have 4 slots around them. You need to make rhythmic flow around it. An example if I set Espeon in the top I'd want to have a poison type in the slot below it."

He figured that much. There was no way in the world Agate Village wasn't blessed in some way, even Wes knew that. But that wasn't really the focus of the conversation, so he'd lean in to take a better look at the program being displayed on the monitor. “...looks empty right now.”
