Last week, the Hive IT team attended the Design to Deliver check-in at the Digital Catapult offices in London! 🌟 We heard from our SMEs, Nature Nurture on ‘The Web of Life Quest’ and Mechanimal on ‘Deepwood,’ sharing their insights and challenges. Exciting progress ahead! 💛 #Environment #Nature

Last week, Duncan visited @sheffielduni.bsky.social to support the Computer Science students on their Software Hut Project! They tackled our booking process for hot desking and meeting room scheduling. We can't wait to see their progress! Huge thanks to Andrew Charlesworth and everyone involved! 💛

Last Friday, Nature Nurture team and Aki from Digital Catapult visited Hive IT HQ in Sheffield for hands on workshops. We developed key user personas and refined our game loop, emphasising teamwork and user focus. Enjoy our group photo with our mini ‘Web of Life Quest’ game and some biscuits! 😂

In recent weeks, our Hive IT team have been collaborating with NATURE NURTURE CIC on ‘The Web of Life Quest,’ aimed at gamifying interactions with local ecosystems. By mixing storytelling and nature exploration, we hope to bridge the gap between screen time and the outdoors. 🧵1/2 #Nature

We’re excited to work with Learn for Life to enhance the Asylum Journey website into a more user-friendly resource for newcomers in Sheffield. Through workshops, we've identified areas needing support, like education and healthcare access. We can't wait to see where this project leads! 💜

Allan is a Filipino-British designer who was born in the Middle East. He specialises in illustration and UX and graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with experience in data visualisation, motion graphics, and branding. He loves Spicy food, films, and music composition.
