I always find it funny reading Marc Alaimo's quotes about DS9. He really seems to believe that Gul Dukat was just a misunderstood hero. In this episode it's revealed Dukat secretly trafficked a child of one of his political rivals to a Bajoran orphanage so he could later use it against him.
