Things went awry in the later part of the summer - a deer demolished my chard, all my herbs fell off the window sill and smashed, my cucumbers went bitter and my second batch of radishes got worms. I started my tomatoes late, but they remain unharmed and are slowly ripening in the autumn sun

The same risograph print on thin japanese paper and cotton fabric, quick experiment last night. I've printed on cotton before but the japanese paper was a new test, i want to try doing more prints on it

A fun little way to have a never ending project is that every time you open up your book in progress you cut about a third of it That way you always still have a good third to draw, which is a perfect amount to still have some faith that you will finish it

Gardening is fun but today I put my freshly picked chard on a sandwich, took a bite and put it down. Came back a minute later and a green caterpillar was crawling out of the sandwich Glad we both came out of the experience unscathed, still ate the sandwich (without caterpillar)
