Narrator of a Nintendo Direct for a new Mario: "Explore a world full of mushrooms! You can press A for a special jump ability. Jumping gets you from platform to platform to advance through the levels! But be careful: all kinds of amazing creatures will try to stop you! Can you get to the flagpole?"

Got it working with a full gold save file! It now extracts Pokémon in the party and sticks them in a list, and the same for all the boxes individually, with all their various attributes. Now to make it work with Crystal which is structured differently because why wouldn't it be

Coded (no vibe coding) a little side thing that reads raw gen 2 Pokémon save data and outputs the info like a little Pokédex. Gonna present it like a garden with all the little guys all running around in it

Artists! I'm the DPI fairy here to tell you that DPI only matters if you are A: defining your canvas in physical dimensions, or B: printing. For A, your pixel resolution is the DPI number multiplied by the dimensions. A square 12 inch image at 300 DPI will have a resolution of 3600px by 3600px.

Why is it such a trope in films/TV that every time an inexperienced character picks up a gun, someone says "I bet you don't know how to use that thing" as if they're not designed to be the simplest thing ever? Imagine if they said the same any time someone picked up a knife, or a toothbrush

I don't know what it is, maybe every explanation of the rules of games is written weirdly, but I just can't mentally understand a card game by reading written rules. It does not compute. It could be the simplest game in the world and I still wouldn't get it until I actually saw somebody play it.

Kinda finding hard to know what to paint these days. So much of what I have done before is really tied to my life at the time I made them, and the environments I lived in. I don't really know how to filter my current experiences through anything else but sad angry woman with swords and flowers
