I've wanted to post about this ever since they started airing, but it's been impossible to explain without sounding like I'm lying
folks, i can't tell you how many times i've rewatched this ad *that republicans are paying people to see*

The good news is we can blame the new plague on Gary Bettman for not taking good notes on what happened after the last time the Stars got to play outside of their normal confines and scheduling them a 2nd one.
The last time the Stars began a season 0-2, the season ended with a global pandemic, so i'd appreciate them not bringing on that sort of risk to the planet.
Someone with a young knee please prepare yourself for sacrifice if needed.
knee on knee man, Roope just can't catch a break
go the Dallas Stars, go all of us to our own personal hells (the Dallas Stars)
Ok good, my instinctual snarl at an Astros home run function still works. Not totally broken.
Just run the clock out on Stars/Wild before an actual murder occurs, please.
Related, the only thing I really miss about not having TikTok anymore is the occasional drop-ins on the Eel Pit Guy and The Lady Tunneling A Mine In Her Home.
You know, when I got the email the other day from the Rangers about a Wild Card/ALDS presale, I was confused. Surely even in the baseball-less era that I am in, I would've picked up somewhere that they were good. Then I looked up the standings, said "oh" out loud, and quietly closed the MLB app.
The dream lives: with five days to go, the AL West leader is 78-79.
I haven't read anything about the game but I saw that Thomas Harley scored and I am ready to read way too much into *that*
Blaney’s hat flung off with the WORD WABASH looks like when the write the fight sound effects in comic books.
As an avowed fan of the Penske Games series on YouTube where Ryan Blaney consistently displays freakish agility, that little dive and burst back through the crowd had me HOOTIN
[the merovingian from MATRIX RELOADED voice] cause… and effect
Glen's just like me, poking at a thing at work that has a problem and realizing the problem originates in ancient works crafted in hell's deepest pit
Glen Gulutzan said they did a deep dive into analytics this summer and are going to make some changes offensively. He said the numbers showed they weren’t a contender level offensively not just last year, but the last five years.
I got bored of doing the Sexy Halloween bit because there's really only so much to be said about the same cartoon characters, but I peeked in on Yandy today and I would be wrong not to celebrate SEXY ESPRESSO MARTINI
Klinger's retirement is one of those happysad moments you can look at with both the aging feeling of time's passing and the warm glow of knowing that everyone who thought he was bad at his peak will forever be wrong
I want this man back in this org yesterday there goes my hero
Klingberg is probably my 2nd favorite Star ever, but I think he might be the best as a person. Stood up for YCP/HIFE. Had all the time in the world for charitable issues, good interview. Cat guy His stutter step blue line walk forced shot blocking in the NHL to evolve. The Ghost goes through walls.
Happy retirement to John Klingberg. At his best he was extraordinary.
we appear to be on the brink of New Julien Baker Activity and I am thankful
I have seen god and it is Brandi Carlile and her band and SistaStrings covering Alanis Morissette
"spoilers" for Collision I guess, but lmao what a treat to get the fuck ICE chant off in the Allen Americans arena tonight
I do love that the on-board streams stay on for quite a while, but I will need HBO to start paying for some sad music to be piped in when the tow truck shows up
I guess on the bright side, if I do stop watching the Stars at some point in the coming years, I could just leave online forever. Corey Seager already freed me from one half of the lifelong posting obligations.
Step right up and spin the "women, gays, or minorities" wheel!
I asked the Dallas Stars about the lack of a Pride Night on the promotional schedule. Here's their statement: “The new Hockey Unites Night allows our organization to use our platform to celebrate and support a different underrepresented community each season.”
I had to drive to Plano this morning for something and that pissed me off all over again about the arena stuff and now to see they've backed out of Pride Night (or think "women in sports night" is an equivalent substitution).......bad times are afoot
Swerve and Hangman are back on television making eyes at each other, all is as it should be
