Crusader against promo-driven development. But I mostly post cat pics. She/Hers 🇺🇦🌻 Los Angeles based. Previously: Seattle, DC, Orlando.

The guys next to me at this deli are trying to flex on each other about their alleged political connections and one of them bragged they were driven around by secret service because they were with … a dem senator, who doesn’t even have regular security, let alone secret service lmao

My beloved neighbors across the hall just moved to Australia, so if anyone wants to live in a 2/2.5 on a beautiful shady street in one of the few walkable parts of Los Angeles for … not cheap rent, let me know. You get that sweet 90210 zip code PLUS if you have cats, I will pet them pro bono

Watching an episode of Evil Lives Here and this woman is like “well medication turned my son into a zombie so that wasn’t an option” and he ended up becoming a murderer and she’s like “nobody would help us get him under control.” ?????

It’s too hot outside for stores to keep having insane hours where they close at 6 PM. Why can’t I shop in the evening when it’s not miserable out?

Had these poke tacos from Gott’s for the first time yesterday and thinking about going back for them again today … too soon? Or not soon enough?

Ahi tuna poke tacos with avocado and slaw and sesame seeds

You know, if you’re an elected Democrat, you don’t HAVE to tweet anything when an elected Republican dies. You can still be polite by saying nothing instead of waxing poetic about someone who actively worked against basic human rights, who wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire.

Deeply saddened to learn of the loss of my dear friend Satan, the Prince of Lies. Though we often disagreed about matters such as the appropriate role of torture in the afterlife, I will most remember how his quick wit and affable nature made our weekly golf outings a ritual. He will be missed.

I’ve always been a tax-and-spend democrat, but living in Beverly Hills the last few years has truly radicalized me. Having a well-funded local government is amazing. No potholes, tons of great (and free!) city services, beautifully maintained public spaces, and any issues are quickly resolved.

I don’t care how cool the weather is most of the year. I will never live in a place without air conditioning. When I lived in Seattle, I had ac. Today, the high is 75°F where I live, and my ac is running full blast. The correct home temperature is 67°F (or 19.5°C) and I will die on that hill.

I hate self-checkout and understaffed stores that lock up half of their inventory and Amazon search results full of the same drop shipping garbage from a zillion third party sellers and incentivized reviews and search engine optimization and getting bombarded with ads when I use Alexa or Google and

Mamdani: "Oftentimes this kind of unity comes in moments of tragedy. And to see it coming now in a moment of joy, it's something I've never seen before across our city."

Listening to all New York themed music today even though I’ve never lived there and don’t really watch sports besides F1. Idk why but the joy is weirdly contagious?

When it happens, the celebrations in the streets will make NYC last night look relatively dull and low energy. Also I love that I can say “when it happens” and everyone will immediately know what “it” means.
