Piece of terrain. It's a half buried dragon skull on a grassy hill. Some camper hitched their tent on one of the horns, but the camp, along with weapons, a bedroll, and firewood, lay deserted. View from the left side of the skull.

Aquarium decoration makes for nice terrain centerpieces. And because I can't finish projects, I started the third wip terrain piece: an aged dragon skull that some lone wanderer used to fasten their tent on. #terrain #nerdlings #Warhammercommunity #TheOldWorld

Just noticing 1 1/2 weeks after Rock im Park that I never posted any pics. Just meant I lived in the moment (and the moshpits)... :D Saw The Offspring, Papa Roach, Linkin Park, Baby Metal, and more. Next up: finishing any miniature this week to get back into the flow.

Highlighting every feather takes some time, but is so relaxing! Painting the plumage like in a medieval tapestry, not inspired by the gigantic gen on griphon from GW... :D Only the right side is properly highlighted, the left just drybrushed. A griphon model on its back. It's the one from the Island of Blood starter box (I think 2010?), but it's slightly changed. For one, there will be (already is) an Empire general on it's back. But the focus should be the wings!
We can see their underside, the plumage separated in three parts - outer, middle and front. From the outer to the front, it gets lighter, from a dark, almost black-red to a light, bright red!
It's only highlighted on the right side, the left side is just after the drybrushing phase.

After doing a lot of Warhammer #TheOldWorld and now a T'au, I'm thinking about doing something non-GW... but at the same time, my kit-bashed Old World general on (elven) griphon smiles at me from across the bar. Can't decide... maybe some terrain inbetween? #warhammerCommunity #nerdlings

An empire general on a slim elven griphon. He carries a lance as a weapon, a feathered hat, and the griphon has some green stuff feathers to make the empire legs fit.

Side view, better look at the remade feathers. They are not perfect, bit homefully blend when painted. The rider wears a pelt across his back.

Other side. More feathers and the rider has the head of a lion (maybe a beastman?) as a shoulder paldron.

Finished the 4th of my #tenBlades, the Blooded. Some ideas: - Orks ate his leg, he survived. - Not wearing his helmet, he learned that from SMs. - His Twi'ter bio is "Aun'va is KING! Pathfinder, Father, husband in that order." Obnoxious guy. #nerdlings #warhammerCommunity

Tau Pathfinder model from the front. His gun is lowered, while he holds a knife in his left hand. He is mid sprint, knife outstretched, as if he was about to attack someone. He does now wear a helmet, so we can see that his left eye is bionic and green. His armor is red, beginning from a dark red on the bottom to a lighter one on top.
He walks over small stones in a sea of grass.

Side view of the same model. From this PoV it's visible that his left leg is severed below the knee, replaced by a simple prothestic in the colour of his armour. His jumpsuit is grey.

Back view. The control panel on the back of his armor is connected to his shoulder pad by a simple strip of cloth on which T'au alphabet signs are written. It's just simply the Tau version of 'Aun'.

A sword kit from the game Ghost of Tsushima. It's the kot 'Bishamon's Fortune'. Its scabbard is a dark red, turning to a lighter red. The cloth around it is grey, with a small motif of lighter grey. All in all, it's the same colour as the armor and the jumpsuit of the T'au Pathfinder.

Quick update on the Taal priest for my #Mordheim gang. He has some vine motive on his back cloth. I wanted to originally do it as a tattoo, but... too ripped. It's based on my own tattoo on my leg! Which is based on German medieval poet knight Hartmann von Aue. #nerdlings #warhammercommunity

Taal's Teeth! A warrior priest of Taal, for my #Mordheim gang. He calls upon the powers of the Lord of Beasts and his wife Rhya, conjuring plantlife. In my army, he will either be an Amber or Jade wizard, I think. Reference for cloth motive I will share tomorrow! #warhammercommunity #nerdlings

A miniature that was once the body of an Empire flagellant. A muscular man, he is wearing a brown robe, carrying a teeth-adorned bronze spear and his left fist is raised, tangled by a freshly bloomimg flower he is just conjuring with his magical/divine abilities.
He has dark har, almost black, and a bushy beard. He is barefoot on some gras.

A proud general of the Empire! Or atleast a miniature of one. Standing on a mix of cobblestone and grass, he is wearing green Landsknecht clothes, slitted with yellow. A dashing blue cloth is bound to his left knee.
He wears a cuirass, trimmed with gold and adorned with a brass laurel on his breast. An ornated T for Taal is between the laurel. An oath to Talabecland is on his right thigh plate. His beard was once brown-blonde, now growing grey with white hair in between.
A mighty, two handed mace rests in his hand, while is general pose is one of rest and confidence.
A wide-brimmed hat on his head, made of leather, sports two big feathers in the colours of Talabecland, yellow and red.

The same miniature from behind. He looks ahead, to new adventures, while brandishing his mace, supported by a rock in the grass.
