Kind of unbelievable that I’ve been able to spend the last few days in deep conversation with a global group of historians and other scholars about cinemas and filmgoing. I am having the time of my life!
The second half of day 2 at #HoMER2026 included a panel on "Cinemas in neighbourhoods, small towns and rural areas" and a keynote address from Cinema for All CEO Jaq Chell.
Day 2 of #HoMER2026 uncluded panels on "Imagined futures and innovative directions" and "Methodologies, mapping and databases."
