Nice autumn walk to a beautiful giant’s kettle (a glacial pothole) at Majroskogen, Stureby. We got off the tube at Bandhagen, where it’s also a flea-market today 🙂

Who was this apparition dressed all in black? A ghost, an omen, or something even weirder? Please let me know your thoughts on this eerie report in the comments and if you are enjoying my posts please do share. Happy Spooky Saturday! susandemeter.substack.com/p/virginia-d...

Yesterday I enjoyed Hasse Ekman’s classic 1945 comedy Kungliga Patrasket. Based slightly on his own family, and especially on his late father’s fame. Big hit at the time and still holds up well. #moviesky #filmskya

Ended the day with an episode of Sweden’s first sitcom, Niklasons (1965). It’s really funny.

And it’s live! 🥳🛸 #ufosky

Yesterday I was interviewed by a Swedish newspaper, Jönköpings-Posten, about my favorite subject: phantom attackers, and now the current Cat in the hat-outbreak that's been hitting Since two weeks back. For the first time ever I've been called "expert" :D www.jp.se/kultur-noje/...

Den vita katten (The White cat), the second Hasse Ekman for me this week. Incredibly dark drama/mystery which caused a bit of scandal in 1950 with its themes of sex and cocaine. Another masterpiece from the maestro! #moviesky #filmskya

The truest of memes.

Stum växer skogen, havets strömmar tiga, ljudlöst välver sig vintergatan. Camera Obscura (”Jan Wictor”, 1946) - egentligen medicinstudenterna Lars Gyllensten och Torgny Greitz.

Feeling I’m at the start of another Hasse Ekman phase. #moviesky #filmskya

'you'd block somebody over political disagreements!?" i've blocked people for having pissy opinions on movies I didn't even like the fuck you think?

Whiiii!

Say what you want about James Gunn, but Slither is still fucking fantastic. #moviesky #filmskya

To get away from the laptop and apartment I took a walk to a place I rarely visit nowadays. It’s where my mom called to tell be she had been diagnosed with liver cancer - and where we, this year, buried Kitek. It’s an emotional spot.

I actually don't hate all kinds of advertising, this is fine (unhinged, but I love it):

Budd Hopkins is an artist with no background in science or psychology, whose art has always involved sado-masochistic scenes involving temples with altars and stately non-human “guardians” in enclosed spaces.

Really, really happy that I’ve been asked to write one or two chapters for an upcoming American book about the paranormal. I love getting these kinds of challenges. It’s mostly just a matter of sitting down and doing it. So yeah. The only real enemy here is my own discipline. As always. 😉

Gonna travel the UK for a week in October. Clas Svahn and I will gather books and documents for Archives for the Unexplained. Gonna meet some of my favorite veteran Fortean researchers and ufologists and that will be fun!

For each time I revisit Robert Clouse’s 1982 Deadly Eyes the more I realize how solid it is. Sure, it’s a bit silly with the dachshunds dressed up as rats, but ialso very charming, old-fashioned and kinda bloody. Fun! #moviesky #filmskya
