Give a half-dressed Alastor some accessories → accused of Orientalism. Use a lighter base color while painting Alastor → accused of whitewashing. Draw Alastor in a sauna → accused of not knowing he's from Creole Louisiana and "wouldn't get hot." What's next?

I was literally just putting down the base colors. Someone who complains that the skin is too white at that stage should probably get some counseling
