The NYT headline is much more accurate than the WaPo headline. Kudos. Headlines won't solve problems with our information environment, but they are all most news consumers see so they help.

This is crazy and criminal. Senator John Hickenlooper has a slam dunk reelection in 2026, yet his campaign feels the need to scam Talarico donors?!? Hick's digital agency built an ActBlue page to look like Talarico's to game SEO and AI search, but his campaign takes 100% of the contributions!!!

The AI search results point to Talarico's official AB page, Hickenlooper's AB page, and Schumer's joint fundraising AB page. Hick's AB page was designed to look like it's Talarico's AB page, and 100% of the donations go to Hick's slam dunk senate campaign. At least the scampac's split it 50/50.

A friend in Madrid encountered this advertisement. The product takes the ice cream sandwich concept too literally and my first thought was "toast would not optimize my enjoyment of gelato."

Hey remember that time in 2016 that Bill Clinton passed Loretta Lynch on a runway, said hello, and prompted outrage in the national media, calls for Lynch to recuse herself, and lots of questions in Congressional oversight hearings? You might be the only one judging from the Blanche hearings.

Watching the Argentina vs England game yesterday, my youngest came up with a good joke. Magritte Thatcher saying "This is not a naval exclusion zone". I ran with the idea of Magritte Thatcher.

The algorithm knows all, sees all, and can predict future behaviors. Why is it showing me a photo of a man drinking raw milk from a glass quart bottle on the street corner and predicting fears of Alzheimer's?

Love articles like this. Let's celebrate local culture. share.inquirer.com/CPd9Ty Every semester as a class exercise, I would have students construct a survey to measure how "Philly" a person was. Always the highlight of the semester for me, but one moment stood out.

We still tap MAC and go to concerts at Spaghetti Warehouse. Philly doesn’t accept new names.

Our defiance builds community. Don’t like it? Go pound sand up Delaware Avenue.

In ALF, an alien escaped his planet because it was destroyed by war, took refuge in the United States after his ship crashed, and the family hid him from the government so that he wouldn't be abducted. Meanwhile, he tries to eat cats. So more speculative fiction than sitcom?

Trump on his Bible sales: People are saying it is the best Bible. It has the New and the Old Testaments. It also has the Declaration of Independence and Constitution, which I like to call the New New Testament.
