people in the US don’t protest like they do in France because the propaganda in the US is so strong that people internalize their failures instead of correctly seeing it as a product of a immoral, capitalist system
Republican politicians are *obsessed* with schoolchildren coming home a different gender because of pro-trans teachers, WHICH NEVER HAPPENS. But they are completely indifferent to schoolchildren not coming home *at all* because of guns, WHICH HAPPENS ALL THE TIME!
I think many of us have forgotten that he flat out refused to endorse Zohran in the NYC mayoral race and if you don’t see some kind of connection here I don’t know what to tell you

Hopefully people are waking up to the fact that the Maga-aligned AI industry is invested in hijacking, censoring, & manipulating information about the world as they suck up data and privatize it, gaining power over entire populations.

Being GenX/Millennial is such a trip. In our lifetimes, we saw people our age getting wild criminal penalties for pirating music and now have to sit and watch as companies gobble up our work with impunity.

The stock market is the economy for the people who can afford to invest in the stock market. I am not one of those people.

I still cannot believe that we humans were gifted a planet teeming with trees, fruit, water, animals, and sunshine—an absolutely perfect, breathing system that provides everything we need for life out of sheer abundance. Yet, we have turned it into debt, capitalism, war, and artificial intelligence.
Trump making a deal with Putin while demanding that Ukraine select a new president is analogous to FDR making a deal with Hitler in 1940 and demanding that England get rid of Churchill and select a new Prime Minister.
This woman received the NPP. I cannot tell you how pleased I am that a woman of color beat out the Orange skid mark to win this. It makes it extra special.
