Canada just released the list of products that it will target with retaliatory tariffs, and it's basically aimed right at vulnerable Republicans in the Midwest and at other key midterm contests. Trump's trade war is a disaster for the GOP. (bears out my reporting on this below)

If SCOTUS starts to mess with a major avenue people use to vote within 70 days of an election it is the clearest signal that they are all in the authoritarian project. And the members of the court backing it should be treated as such.
