The past weekend was very relaxing. We went out for a few beers, ate some nice food, watched a load of videos on YouTube and indulged in a bit of nostalgia by playing some old games… good stuff! It all sounds a bit simple but I do need more comfy days like this
I finally got my childhood Sega Saturn to look pretty nice (and not like total shit) over SCART on a 4K TV. I also got it playing games from an SD card! Now I can bask in the nice warm glow of nostalgia

That feeling where you come up with an idea for some art, commission it, get the initial sketch back and find it looks exactly how you’d imagined it would sure is something, huh?
I've revisited Silent Alarm by Bloc Party a lot this past year and keep finding myself coming back to it again and again. It's been a difficult time but I've consistently found it to be an enjoyable and comforting listen, no matter what mental state I've found myself in (1/3)
The Tails pins I ordered from @vidi.wtf came today and they sent a little card with a drawing of the boy on it. Thank you so much! (why two? I need a back up for when I inevitably lose/break the first one, haha)
The first part of my day off is suddenly getting the urge to have a nose around on LastFM again for the first time in years... only to find that my password needs changing but that I don't seem to have access to whatever e-mail was used to create my account, bah!
This week has been hard work and very, very draining. I’m feeling exhausted but at least I finally have a day off tomorrow. I’m hoping to rest, listen to a bit of music and then go to the pub with Haydo and the dog… my kind of lazy day!
Quickly picked four albums before I needed to leave for work as I could spend ages on a “task” like this, haha! I’m also ignoring the fact that Monster has parts that have a little bit of a grunge feel, given the initial prompt, as it’s my joint favourite R.E.M. album, after all!

We went to a Dachshund owners meet up today (the Shrewsbury Sausage Social!) which was very fun. It was very uplifting to see a lot of sausages in one place… well over a hundred! We then went to my favourite bar in Shrewsbury (Tap & Can) but I’ve had multiple 8%+ beers and now I am very sleepy
If I had any doubts of having a huge praise kink: I recently sold a couple of bits on eBay and every time I get really detailed feedback from the buyer saying how pleased they are and what a good job I did it makes me wish I had a big, fluffy tail to wag... what is wrong with me
The past week at work was so draining (six days in a row with three of them on extremely poor amounts of sleep, boo) I've ended up having a nap on the sofa with the dog on my one day off. I'd normally consider this a "waste" but it'd seem that I needed it, haha. I do feel refreshed...

I knew this week would be frustrating at work but I didn’t know it’d be “someone calling in sick last second meaning a struggle to arrange cover and me coming into work to find a photo frame has fallen off the wall and there’s glass everywhere” frustrating 👌
The “post being off work for a week” blues are hitting hard today. I don’t want to be at work, I feel really low about myself and the way I’ve been generally feeling feels like it’s been amplified… hopefully things settle down sooner rather than later
I may feel like I really want to lose a little weight after seeing recent photos of me but at least we stumbled upon “Le Coq Massif” this past week (we also found a museum with the same name as my bernese side!)
The wiener sticker has (finally) been used and blessed the car… just a shame I got an air bubble under it
I updated my computer because apparently I can't install printer drivers without updating Windows first because... reasons(?) which they then use as an excuse to reinstall Copilot, change the start menu so programs are arbitrarily grouped together and make Edge the default Why are they like this
So, just the stock count to go at work this weekend, then I’m off for a week. Oddly I’m hoping for cooler, slightly less sunny week but not being at work will be 11/10 whatever
It’d be really nice to have a decent sleep where I’m not constantly waking up drenched in my own sweat… focusing at work is already proving to be difficult this week
Happy birthday to Sonic! A character that means a hell of a lot to me and a franchise that almost certainly changed the course of my life forever. 35 years of my favourite game of all time feels… surreal (I’ll probably be insufferable when it’s the turn of Tails having his 35th next year, heh)
Gitaroo-man being added to PSN (with trophies!) was an extremely nice surprise! I forgot how crazy it can get though
Johnathan Toews retires the same day I post a picture of me wearing a Blackhawks jersey over my fursuit and the same month I accidentally ruin a jersey that has his name on after forgetting it needs to be washed cold. That’s odd
