Oh hell yeah! We're finally getting Henri Xhonneux's Marquis on blu from @MondoMacabroUSA! I have been singing the praises of this thing for decades. The Marquis de Sade is a dog. His penis talks to him. The whole thing feels like a weird dream...in the best way possible!

Zombie isn't just one of the greatest Italian horror films ever made. It's one of the greatest horror films, period. Amazing gore. Incredible atmosphere. And an eye trauma scene that's been making people squirm for more than 40 years. Full review in Sick Flicks Volume 1. amzn.to/4bk4mff

One of Piper’s greatest strengths is her ability to balance thrilling scares with subtle social commentary (there’s an anti-AI undercurrent to the revelation of the Toad Man’s origins) and impressive character building, as when she teases out her queer 40-something heroines’ complex pasts.
