For nearly 50 years, the Univ. Michigan Survey of Consumers has tracked whether Americans hear positive or negative business news. The education gap has never been wider, with college grads hearing far more negative news than non-grads.

For all the talk of data centers and AI, they are not showing up on Oregon candidates' websites. With help from Claude, I reviewed 109 websites for Oregon House of Representatives candidates. Just 2 mention data centers, and only 5 mention artificial intelligence or AI.
