We outlawed suicide, homosexuality, abortion & prostitution. We had laws that breached the human rights of women, Indigenous peoples. These laws had to be exposed & challenged, they were inhumane and wrong. Prohibition is inhumane and wrong — it should have been exposed and abolished years ago.
