Figure 1.: Kaplan-Meier curves showing the rate of submission of reviewer reports. Reviewer invitations “survived” until a report was submitted, with censoring at 50 d. Invitations sent with the offer of a $250 cash incentive resulted in a slight increase in timely reviewer report submissions compared with control (hazard ratio, 1.30; 95% CI, 1.04–1.62; p = 0.022; Cox proportional hazard model).
