So it's been quite a HOT minute since we posted here, and a lot has happened in pop culture, sadly nothing good or uplifting. We lost 3 legends in one week, Dolly Parton (Created "9 to 5"), Tim Curry (OG Pennywise, Nigel Thornberry), and Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime, Big Guy/Toonami). Really hurts.

If you thought Invader Zim getting the remainder of their episodes run only on Nicktoons Network was messed up, they're not the only one. Other shows that faced this same treatment include Making Fiends, My Life as a Teenage Robot, The X's, Catscratch, and El Tigre! It ain't easy bein' a Nicktoon.

Did you know that back then, if you worked at a Hot Topic and wanted to see a band in concert, that Hot Topic would pay for your ticket? The catch is that they'll do it only if you report back with a fashion report the next day, that's how HT was able to get to the trends before anyone else.

Anyone know what happened to Hetalia? Used to be all over Hot Topic in the 2010s and then it just vanished out of thin air.

Yalls probably already know this one, but may as well for those who don't. Anyone else know My Chemical Romance's roots to Cartoon Network Studios? Before he founded the band, Gerard Way interned at Cartoon Network, and eventually pitched his own show, "Breakfast Monkey"!

BOOM! Studios has reportedly acquired the publishing rights to Invader Zim from Nickelodeon. They intend to release more comics, however it's been reported that Jhonen Vasquez is not involved, nor was informed that the comics were being made. John F. Fountain would post "No Jhonen, No Zim." on X.

I guess as our first fact here...DID YOU KNOW? Paramount chose to have Invader Zim release on DVD through a third party, that being Anime Works/Media Blasters, the same group that released the BERSERK 1998 dub. ...Can you imagine those two shows sitting on the same shelf?
