GM's British commercial vehicle specialist, Bedford, was struggling to update its range by the 1980s. For vans the answer lay in Japan, with a new joint venture, IBC vehicles. Its first product was the UK-built Bedford Midi, a version of the existing Fargo van from GM's Isuzu affiliate. #carbluesky
Working from home has its upsides but I never had to remove bra wires from a washing machine while I worked in an office. Not during the day anyway.
The great irony is that whenever a modern car has pinged an alert at me for not paying attention, I've almost always been trying to use the car's own touchscreen. Amazing!

It isn't accurate, it cannot recognise or distinguish faces, their structure or that there are differences with any kind of accuracy. Our recent Ford Escort raffle supported the charity AKT. It's an LGBTQ homeless charity - a valuable and important cause. During our livestream, where we discussed the charity, we started getting chat comments that were frankly bordering on hate speech from a few very vocal people. It was upsetting.

The wildfires are getting bad, especially in France and Spain. Wales actually has a few too but I'm pleased to report that neither property is anywhere near any of them. Feeling for those affected. Tens of thousands of people have been evacuated.

Spanish speed limits are very confusing. They tend to change a lot on rural roads, with myself, Google Maps and the car itself often disagreeing as to what the speed should be - which seems to usually be less than the locals regardless!
I always liked the looks of these. Wonder what they're like to drive?

It's 2245hrs here in Spain and currently 33 degrees C. Which is at least cooler than the 43 we saw earlier. I burnt my fingers earlier on the electric window switches of my hire car. Thankfully the temperature in our non-air-conditioned house is just about bearable. Anyway, here's a Seat Toledo.
