I stopped at Buc-ee's on my way home from Gen Con last week and I don't get rhe hype. The food was mid at best, the beaver nuggets aren't very good, and the crowd was annoying. I guess the bathrooms were nice and I got a free sticker.

I love my dog, Age of Steam, board games, pinball, national parks, Dungeon Crawler Carl, and Discworld (she/her). https://linktr.ee/huddyrx
Put up some high scores on Fall of the Empire before I had ro leave yesterday. I'm seriously considering selling Foo Fighters to buy one of these.
At Pinball Alley until the allplay event or until I run out of money
Left my glasses and sharpie in Cleveland. One of those I might be able to buy on the second leg of my trip in the morning.
#1 priority at Gen Con Thursday is to check out the Dungeon Crawler Carl pinball machine.
Went to another Sunday meetup yesterday and played Age of Steam and Time of Crisis.
Trying to decide if I should pack my copy of Dungeon Crawler Carl in the off chance I run into Matt Dinniman at Gen Con.
I guess I'll be saving my money instead of buying a Dungeon Crawler Carl pinball machine. Really bummed that it's going to be coming from multimorphic. I have zero interest in their system.
Played Paddy this evening. I enjoyed the tile, animal, and waterfall placement. The action cards caused some wild swings that I didn't really care for. It has great table presence though.
I thought Wendy's learned their lesson when they brought sweet & sour sauce back, but I guess I was wrong.
I have one day at Gen Con next month and the only game on my list is Jibber Jabble. Just hoping to find some fun art. Bummed I didn't get a ticket to the Matt Dinniman signing.
I don't really like to play my own Age of Steam maps after I finish them, but all of the talk about The Odyssey has me wanting to play my Aiaia map again. Jonathan did a fantastic job on the art.
Went to a public meetup today for the first time in years and actuallyhad fun st one for the first time ever. They play heavier games than most of the others nearby and didn't seem too cliquey. I'll think I'll go back next Sunday.
I have one day at Gen Con. Do I take 4 hours out of my exhibit hall time to see The Odyssey at the imax?
Fingers crossed Death Cab plays An Arrow in the Wall and/or Pepper during their encore tonight in Cleveland.
Tried and failed to go see the Big Boy locomotive today. Sat in traffic for 85 minutes and moved less than a mile.
Watching the World Cup wondering how this guy got a trombone into Arrowhead.
Just had to tell my mom the cover of the book she just bought from a local author has an AI cover. I really don't want to tell her that the story is likely AI as well.
Going through some board game bits. I have cube4me token sets for 1848 and 1849, but not the stickers. Why didn't past me put the stickers on the bits or at least keep them together.
This free flying disc is Arthur's new favorite toy. He keeps carrying it around and laying on it.
I'm glad Arthur isn't scared of fireworks like Cosmo was, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the July 4th snuggles.
Hurley from Hot Streak by @cmyk.games got to meet three of the @cleguardians.com hot dogs this evening.
Any board game companies want to hire a pharmacist? A Kroger buyout doesn't bode well for my paycheck.
I'm excited for this new set of games from Playte. Thurn & Taxis, Hellas, and appropriately sized boxes for The King is Dead and Carolus Magnus. Dickory as well, but I already own the New Mill version which.
