Official Bluesky account of the EU Horizon-funded Marie Curie Actions Doctoral Network H.U.M.A.N. We're leveraging metabolomics for blood analysis! Find out more about us and our (lab) work: human-dn.eu and LinkedIn! Instagram: @humandn_ X: @human_dn

Sara Londoño is closing her chapter with the HUMAN Doctoral Network after three years of research, collaboration, mentoring, and plenty of unexpected turns along the way. We are excited to see where clinical research or industry R&D takes her next. ¡Nuestros mejores deseos y mucha suerte, Sara!

PhD is not just science, it’s project management and stress mitigation combined. Our DCs Marlene, Sara, Philippine, and Pauline get candid about what’s like to be a HUMAN PhD while keeping their sanity and stress levels in check. 👇 What's the most underrated stress-management tip you swear by?

"What do you like about the HUMAN Doctoral Network?" We asked our DCs and PIs what their thoughts are and we're sharing them with you today! How about you? What do you like about the HUMAN Network? Let us know in the comments below! ⬇️

1/2 We have an announcement to make. 📢 As we approach the end of the project (and by extension, our PhD contracts), we're slowing down our social media presence. 👋 Most of our DCs now are sprinting towards the finish line and we would like them to focus on that goal. 🎯

An appreciation post to the women of the HUMAN consortium. 🎉 Nine out of 12 of our DCs are women from all over the world, and they are mentored and supported by brilliant women across the network! Cheers to all the women and girls in STEM!🥂

New study confirms that tiny dried blood samples (BμS) are a viable alternative to plasma for global metabolic profiling. The Mitra device stood out, providing comparable, and in some metrics, richer metabolic information. Big step toward less-invasive testing! Curious? 🔗 bit.ly/4pU6Hmw

🚀 New Year, new Weeked Read! New study shows that tiny blood volumes collected with Mitra, Capitainer, and Whatman devices can deliver richer, more stable metabolic profiles than plasma—capturing key redox biomarkers like glutathione and ergothioneine. Curious? 🔗bit.ly/4q9cJAO #microsampling
