The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has issued an Air Quality Health Advisory for today, July 16, 2026. Air quality in New York City is predicted to be similar to the levels experienced yesterday.

In response to NYC Emergency Management's air quality announcement, Hunter is asking supervisors to allow employees with health concerns to shift to remote work for the remainder of today, July 15, 2026. Instructors are also asked to adapt instruction, assignments, or exams as needed.
