In July 2008 oil got to 147 USD a barrell and we then paid an "outrageous" £1.19 a litre. Now, it's 80 USD and we pay pushing £1.60. Fuel outfits should be taxed to (expletive deleted) and forced to reduce prices, rather than trousering a fortune from hard pressed folk.
