You won't believe what Geji's based off and what his name means
Working more on storyboards for the HuskHost pilot/ep1. "I'll go to bed after I finish this scene!" I say. "Shouldn't take me that long" I say. Proceeds to draw for much longer than intended because the scene is longer than I thought. One day I'll get to bed at a normal time 😭

Ditching the script for HuskHost because switching to being board driven is working out SOOOOO much better. The difference is crazy. Who knew that it's hard to write good scripts when you can't picture things in your head...?
So happy I am making HuskHost 3D animated. Every time I storyboard I feel justified in my decision because this would suck to animate in 2D. Learning 3D is certainly a hurdle, but it feels like a much easier one in the long run! I will thank myself later I feel.
First rough animatic for the opening scene of HuskHost! Things will probably change because this is much shorter than intended. This was also to test some pipeline stuff I'm still figuring out. Sound effects/music from Pixabay.

I get my desktop back tomorrow!! Going to use my remaining week of holidays to draw as much of the HuskHost pilot storyboards as possible 🫡 Shame I lost a week to PC repairs but I am happy it was able to be fixed.
Geji looks very fluffy in the 2D art, but all his fluff is actually just thousands of insect legs. Prickly.... 🪲 #HuskHost
