Checked out Ready or Not: Here I Come. Picks up where its predecessor left off. When a bride wins the game new rules happen, other families are allowed to join the hunt for an ultimate seat of power. Grace & Faith aren’t about to make it easy for them. Lots of fun, gore, & #horror
Checked out 28 Years Later: Bone Temple. Continues the previous film's story. You spend time w/ Old Nick's cult 👎 & Ralph Fiennes 👍, which was great. Lots of strong moments, & you get to see the full cycle of the Rage Virus devastating the land. Pretty good overall & the ending is amazing #horror
Checked out Hokum. Adam Scott plays a writer who travels to Ireland to spread his parents' ashes and stays at a hotel where a witch is locked in the honeymoon suite. A missing woman and a murder mystery lead him into danger. Creepy, tense, and full of chills. Loved it. #horror
Checked out Lee Cronin's The Mummy. Daughter kidnapped in Egypt, found 8 years later, but she's not the same Katie. Appearance, mannerisms, & behavior are all off, & harming her family & sowing chaos is her forte. Loaded w/ the body horror & tension Cronin is known for. #horror
Checked out HIM. Wanted to like it but fell flat for me. Protagonist wants to become the GOAT & trains w/ the current GOAT but has to compromise himself & morals. Commentary on race & who profits off athletes, plus a weird blood ritual. Uncomfortable watch & soundtrack didn't help. Disappointing
Ready for this months @yokoikids.bsky.social Surprisingly, this game is not an early rhythm game where you press A & B in time w/ Metallica's hits, nor is it a GameBoy visual novel retelling Hemingway's classic w/ an all-frog cast during the Spanish Civil War. Instead it’s a Zelda-esque action RPG!

Checked out Undertone. A real assault on the auditory senses. Podcasters find 10 audio snippets & each one reveals more truth of an evil entity. Does a fantastic job of creating a atmospheric tense setting. Had me looking over my shoulder the whole time #horror
Checked out We Bury the Dead. Meteor lands in Australia & large amounts of people are knocked offline in a coma like state. Teams of survivors go back to bury/burn their dead since if they wake up they come back “zombie” like but w/ some semblance/memories of the past #horror really enjoyed
Checked out Ghost Train, anthology of 6 #horror stories that take place in a train station in Korea. YouTuber learns more about train station from worker only to fall into a horror story of her own. All stores were done well, worth a watch!
Checked out 1978. Set in 1978 during Argentina’s tumultuous Dirty War while the 78’ FIFA runs interference of the policial unrest, 1st 1/2 is a really good political #horror story akin to hostile, 2nd 1/2 brings in a occult twist. I like the 1st half more. really wanted to love this, it’s just ok
Checked out House of Darkness, Place Justin Long in a horror film & I’m in! He meets a date at a bar & goes back to her place only to realize he’s not in for a good time. Some social commentary on gender roles and toxic dating scene. Plays out like a really good Tales from the Crypt episode #horror
Checked Crazy Old Lady, woman ask ex to check on mom who has Alzheimer’s. Except she confuses him for someone else entirely & reveles an unknown secret past that should have remained hidden! Good stuff & strong performances by the leads! #horror
Checked out Return to Silent Hill, borrows heavily from the game w/ regards to aesthetics & how it’s shot. Changes some elements but at its core it’s the same story, acting won’t win any awards but the music, feel & look is great #horror
Checked out Primate, dad leaves daughters & friends at house with pet chimp. Chimp doesn’t play nice (rabies) Essentially a chimpanzee slasher movie & I’m here for it! Loved it 🐵🐵🐵🐵
My 2025 Switch line up! No surprise with Vampire Survivors being number 1! love that game
Just bear Marvel Cosmic Invasion, fun beat em’ up, great sprites, fighting system not overly complex or too simple, good variety of characters w/ different play styles. My mains were Captain America & Wolverine, some replayability due to the achievements. A blast with friends.
Checked out Mother of Flies, girl has cancer and turns to a witch for a cure relies a lot on a couple images that are done really well to insight shock, practical effects are done really well, story meanders a bit & gets a little confusing, but overall is a fine witch movie #horror
Found three Yokai Medals at my Book Off ! It’s been so long since I added to my binder, unfortunately definitely Japanese medals as I don’t see a spot for them in any of my medalliums , but I’m happy to find them just the same! #yokaiwatch
Just beat Power Rangers Rita’s Rewind. Very fun beat em up reminiscent of the SNES era. Great sprites w/ fun gameplay. The game rewards purposeful combos but button mashing works! Playing as Megazord was a blast albeit zord sections were tough. Needs DLC as the IP is rich w/ monsters & content!
Just Beat Dragon Ball Advance on the GBA. Fun beat em up basically a cliff notes over the original story but skips & leaves out a couple things. Great color & sprites. Pretty easy overall as button mashing beats most bosses but very enjoyable 🐉🐉🐉
Checked out Coyotes. Fantastic comedy/horror movie about people who don’t know how to lock their doors & get eaten by Coyotes. Coyotes were fierce/scary people where fodder but made for a great popcorn flick! #horror 🐺🐺🐺
Checked out There’s Something in the Barn, a good blend of comedy/horror. Family inherits a home/barn in Norway only to realize its inhabitants are barn elves who don’t appreciate the direction of the new owners. Great addition if you need a new Christmas time #horror movie🎅🏻
Made a Chicken & Lentils soup! - caramelize 2 onions in pot, add garlic -add chicken thighs cook then 1 1/2 cup of red lentils, salt, pepper, onion/ garlic powder & turmeric - add 8 cups of chicken broth then boil/simmer till chicken is cooked (dice em) & lentils ready! @extranapkins.net
This cheesecake recipes always gets tons of love and it’s so easy! In a blender mix: - 2 cream cheese brick - 1 can of evaporated milk -1 can condensed milk - dash of vanilla extract - 4 eggs Blend & place in oven at 400 for 50-55 min or till toothpick comes back clean! @extranapkins.net
Pistachio Chocolate Chip Cookies! Brown 1 1/2 cup of butter, place in bowl w/ cup of brown sugar, 1/2 cup of white sugar & mix. Add 1 egg, 1 Yolk, Vanilla extract mix. Add 1 & 3/4 cup of flour, pinch of baking soda. Add chopped chocolate & pistachio ball & bake at 350 for 11 min @extranapkins.net
