Also I think if you start to impose additional borders people start to realize it's kinda weird? Like if you needed to wait 6 months and pay $500 to get a visa approved to travel from CA to AZ people would recognize that as ridiculous/authoritarianism.
It is pretty sad that so few people actually believe in open borders

Bewildered by multiple vagueposts on here until I remembered that the only thing I muted on Bluesky is the word “Platner” and most of the posts aren’t vague at all.

God I’m such a weirdo. Why do I feel FOMO about writing for Liberal Currents? I have no qualifications besides a general knowledge of literature, film, journalism, and animation, no postgrad degree, and no clue what I’d even write about, and yet it calls to me.
Imagine someone posting a picture of a peanut butter sandwich. Another person comments under the post criticizing them for how they cut the sandwich. Person one responds: how they cut the sandwich is none of their business. Person two replies by pointing out they posted the sandwich publicly.
