listen. i understand complaints about torture porn but sometimes it does worry me how this is slapped onto literally every story that explores a character wallowing in misery. is it torture porn or is it because you can't stomach depressing stories that highlight the unfairness of life

got around to reading the sd interviews and it's just me nodding so fast i break my neck because it's so important that certain details are affirmed to be deliberate (specifically towa's mental state altering the trajectory of each route, shinkoumi being built around towa himself, etc etc etc)
finally got around to finishing a normal game a bit ago (outer wilds), back to demented yaoi vns (getting started on tnc)
genuinely flabbergasted at how people don't grasp the passive suicidal ideation towa suffers from (that turns active in fujieda's route)

if madarame were a femboy people would appreciate his character writing mo- *gets shot*
i wouldn't hesitate to say madarame deserves a bullet to the head but he does make me immensely sad because ultimately he is a victim that people overlook just because he's built like a truck (and colorism DEFINITELY factors into it), and everything he displays are coping behaviors for a dark past
is it a hot take to say an outsider (fujieda) was essential to pulling towa outside of the shinkoumi/takasato group echochamber that normalizes and minimizes fucked up experiences, because often i see people diminish his route just because he had no relation to towa outside of his younger sister
listened to madarame's bad ending song live, that's all i needed out of life
