Re: last post — a lot of people get the message early on in life that to tell the truth is to invite discomfort and somehow that discomfort is worse than reality. It’s not true but it’s a belief and I feel it undergirds most things in social existence at the moment. People really FEAR reality.

I’ve learned over time that whether it’s professional, financial or relationship advice —context matters. What worked well for one person would be self sabotage in a different situation. There are no best practices only practices that work best in this situation.
