I put in a ticket for the octatrack fault so holding my breath until the quote comes back. Worst case scenario though, kind of tempted by mapping a cheap launchpad to Renoise and seeing what comes out of that.

The other thing I think about is how easy it is to use a dirtywave m8 to sequence effects (amongst other stuff) and just tape the thing to a guitar?

Maybe when I get a little time off a fun thing to do will be reading this as a (painfully) non-developer and counting the seconds until my brain explodes.
Visuals machine is up and running though (kind of. I still need to test it and see what breaks) but initial impressions are positive. Blender renders, managed an array of cubes very nicely, Davinci “runs.” I’ve not fed it any video yet but hopefully soon.
Also imagine thinking this and only ever releasing music once every five years.
