Just what pops into my head at the time. Nothing specific. I still need Sandling and Green Sandpiper.

Missed most of the action at this am, Osprey caught fish was attacked by an Eagle. Osprey dropped fish & Eagle tried to recover from bay but got stuck in water for a few minutes. When I arrived the Eagle was perched in Eagle tree @narwhalsh.bsky.social @harbourbirds.bsky.social @mick666.bsky.social

Southern Migrant Hawker(Aeshna affinis) at Lytchett Bay today (30/07/26)

With the current influx of Southern Migrant Hawker(Aeshna affinis) to southern Britain I decided to go check out the east side of Lytchett Bay where I found the 1st records for Dorset in 2018. Happy to report there were at least 3 males present today
