Every time I see a recipe that calls for a stick or a half stick of butter I get vaguely frustrated because I have never bought butter by the stick. I don't even know if they sell it in Canada & it doesn't matter because I've never bought it. Just say the volume. We don't need bundles or hogsheads.

A thing I like is signing up for a website that makes me log in every time and then it sends a confirmation text to my phone every time so I can type that in and check the "remember me on this device" box every time.

You guys ever heard of a French toast-style grilled cheese? Where you assemble your grilled cheese sandwich but then dip it in a mix of tomato soup and egg until the bread is saturated, French toast-style, then cook it as usual?

A conspiracy theory I believe is true is that no one actually likes the taste of beer, they just pretend to because they see other people doing it. Ooh, the hops in this are so *gags* bitter. But, uh, citrusy! Is that pamplemousse I taste??

Judging from reviews, Mike Flanagan's Carrie is amazing/garbage and well worth watching/well worth avoiding because it brings so much new stuff to the table/completely fucks the story. I dunno, I only saw one episode so far but I dug it. I think Flanagan makes solid, emotion-driven horror.

Me: I bet SpongeBob calls it "rolling the dice" when he jerks off. Ya know...cuz they're little squares. Bus Driver: Please, it's been an hour, i'm begging you to stop and just take a seat. ... Bus Driver: And they're cubes, not squares.
