Day 5 of #RPGaDay2026, and the venn diagram gives us “Intellect”, “Burden” and “Full of Woe”. Well, that’s a cheerful combination. What sort of person’s going to be like that? Well, let's find out, shall we?

Almost anything in Baby Driver, but the Hocus Pocus scene in particular.

It’s day 4 of #RPGaDay2026, and if we’re designing a character that meets the prompts of “Intellect”, “Charm” and “Full of Grace”, I expect you’re probably building another spy then. So let’s not do that. Instead, let’s look at a game that combines those qualities in a most pleasing way. 1/
It’s day 3 of #RPGaDay2026, and what are we looking at today? Possessed of a decent brain? Nice looking, are you? Good on your feet? I expect you’re almost definitely playing a spy then. 1/
It’s day 2 of #RPGaDay2026, and our prompts today are “Drive”, “Blessed” and “Stature”. I’m running a superhero game using the Marvel Multiverse RPG at the moment, so what sort of NPCs might show up in the game that meet those particular attributes? 1/
#RPGaDay2026 has arrived. We have weekly and daily filters, and a daily prompt, all of which are meant to trigger some thoughts about role-playing games. So, if we use those three variables to create some sort of Venn Diagram, what does that give us? Let's see... 1/

This guy’s back playing Doctor Who - we truly are back in the Wilderness Years.
Many a long year since I last read this. That quote seems familiar.

With the rest of the parties suggesting (or outright stating) they won’t stand against Farage in his by-election. Is there an “anyone but Nigel” candidate out there? Does @carolvorders.bsky.social fancy the gig?
Mine appears to be Coventry. Never visited, never been sent there.
This is quite a good one for people to think about - what's the biggest UK city you haven't been to? Mine is Liverpool, but daughter likely going to University there so that will change.
Another week another protest. No “Eat the Rich” banners so far.
To be fair the fox managed to get his fucking HP printer to work, so fair play. An achievement I’ve never managed: We’ve obviously nurtured a breed of foxes with a higher level of intelligence.
This almost makes me want to watch the last film again. But not quite.
Tumblr but still
Watched Tip Toe. Alan Cumming and David Morrissey were magnificent. RTD managed for the most part to be even-handed in his storytelling, making Morrissey’s character more sympathetic than he had any right to be. 1/
Happy Pride Month. Like Kieran says, you are loved, and you deserve to feel supported in these increasingly awful times.
Every year for Pride, I repost Hue. I made him to send love and comfort to those who feel Pride isn’t for them because they aren’t out. You matter, you are valid, and it’s ok if you aren’t ready yet. Coming out is not a requirement for being part of this community. Happy Pride 🌈
Last day of #UKGE. Ran the Comics Code this morning, with I’ve gentlemen from Glasgow, who had a lot of fun with the system (many doubles rolled, with a great range of outcomes picked), and who boldly made their way through the scenario to a very satisfactory ending! And then - Judge Dredd! 1/
Day 2 of #UKGE over. Ran a splendid Matrons of Mystery game this morning, with five very enthusiastic players who created a great game for them and me. Mystery was solved, despite them beefing the “solve the mystery” roll. I even innovated a more satisfying (to me) way to introduce the mystery. 1/
Day 1 of #UKGE done. Ran Doctor Who this morning. The valiant time travellers more or less successfully navigated their way through the adventure. They appeared to have fun. I only mildly stressed about timekeeping. Wandered round 3 trade halls spending not TOO much money, lasted about 4 hrs! 1/
If only this existed yesterday, I could have used this for my con game tomorrow. Pretty cool though.
Heading down to #UKGE for a weekend of running RPGs, playing RPGs, chatting about RPGs, and hopefully not spending TOO much money buying RPGs. If you see me, give me a wave. Or hide, I guess.
Well, this looks fun. A year’s worth od horrific adventuring, from the twisted minds behind the Magnus Archives and my favourite RPG multi-setting book, Odd Jobs! Got money? Maybe back this then! www.kickstarter.com/projects/mac...
