Year 11 Triple Chemistry students investigated how temperature affects the reaction rate between sodium thiosulphate and hydrochloric acid, observing precipitate formation and analysing their results. 🔬 #EveryoneExcellentEveryday

Another new activity has joined our P5 Enrichment Programme this term, padel! 🎾 It’s already proving popular, with both students and staff enjoying the chance to try something new and develop their skills. A huge thank you to Padel 16 for supporting this👏

After last week’s return of Karaoke Tuesday, our students were even keener to grab the mic and show off their talents! 🎶🙌 There were some seriously impressive performances, plenty of confidence and, of course, lots of support from the audience.👏🏼

🏉 What an opportunity for our Year 8 & 9 students! A visit to Sale Sharks training with Caldy Rugby Club included a tour, meeting players & coaches and an insight into professional rugby. Mr Leader even met his favourite, Courtney Lawes!

⚽️ 13 lucky students enjoyed an unforgettable night at Manchester United v Sabah — the first Champions League game of the season! For some of our new Year 7s, it was their first ever match. What a way to experience it, under the Old Trafford floodlights! 🔴

📚 Year 8 enjoyed a library lesson this week, recapping library rules and the catalogue system before exploring famous libraries, protected books and how to identify a genuine original. All KS3 students are encouraged to borrow a book from our library! 📖

Year 10 student Awa was selected as ICA’s ball assistant for Manchester United for the 2026/27 season through our links with the Manchester United Foundation. She’s already been pitchside for Man Utd vs Ipswich and met first-team players. Well done, Awa! What an incredible experience!
