Being an American feels like getting on a school bus and then your bus driver decides to do a drive by
Can't help but feel like this is one of the reasons why the Constitution says If a dude in office does an insurrection, don't let that motherfucker hold office again Bc clearly they cannot be trusted with power & control over the levers of government, & they do not care about democratic constraints
Just woke up even angrier. Impeach, convict, remove. Draft articles now. Either we have a representative government or we don’t. Do not shut up about this until there’s a vote.
Members of Congress: stop posting online and APPEAR, PHYSICALLY on the steps of the Capitol to decry this unconstitutional violation of domestic & international law. SHOW THE PEOPLE the level of danger we are facing as a country. @housedemocrats.bsky.social @senatedemocrats.bsky.social
We need more collaboration, especially with the arts, and that includes music, museums, concerts, etc. Justin made music out of 'OldSkurv'. Watch his process! #ProudBlue
@corybooker.com hello I used to run the Wendy’s Twitter account and I am begging you to let me help you with the dems social media strategy, I will literally do it for free at this point

South Korea was prepared to deal with their dictator because they have better laws, which we will fail to fix here if we keep blaming Garland instead of the system he was bound by. Jack Smith is trying to tell us. We should listen. www.muellershewrote.com/p/between-th...
Between the Lines of Jack Smith's Final Report
The Jack smith report does more than outline Trump's crimes; it lays bare the delays inherent in the system - and if we don’t address them - no AG will be able to hold future despots accountable.

hey you. thank you for being here. thank you for existing. today you're you & thats enough. youre enough. this is your first time being alive. take it with gentleness towards yourself. you have time to learn, to grow, to exist
The world around me may be crumbling but I have never felt more hopeful than I do now. The world might have been simpler when I was a kid but I was a lot more miserable then. I wasn't even really alive then. I'm alive now. And I'm going to keep living, no matter what.
I think something key in enjoying social media is how much pessimist, self-defeating stuff you allow yourself to see there. These days someone quote-tweeting something grim saying "we're so fucked" will make me mute them immediately. That stuff adds up, it will poison your brain. Stop looking at it.
