Bad, regurgitated and even plagiarised information is pouring out of the internet and backwashing into institutional spaces

It’s nearly 7 weeks since ⤵️ The insurers have sent 4 people to assess damage (w/ at least 1 more to come) and have still not given any quotes, but are ‘worried’ the floor — which they stopped us dehumidifying — might still be damp, so after a gap, in a heatwave, *now* want to start drying it out 🙄

After a lovely weekend in London, got home to find the bathroom radiator had burst and flooded my workspace below — pool of water on the floor, laptop, books and wips soaked… 😭

Me: I’ve never made mushroom soup before, can you test taste it for me? He: Mmm… And does it have chilli in it? Me: Yes of course — do bears pope in the woods? He: Me: He: I’d better get ready for the gym

Have managed, without even trying hard, to miss every match of this World Cup, but we have guests tonight who have been following it all and want to watch the final, and I can’t hide in the kitchen much longer… 😭
