Oh, hey! Kaiju Preservation Society just won the Seiun Award for Translated Novel! That's the Japanese equivalent of a Hugo Award. I'm thrilled to have won, and for this novel in particular, which is a love letter to a distinctly Japanese cultural phenomenon. It feels especially meaningful.
