Telegram’s app had CSAM content so it was pulled off the App Store. Telegram removed CSAM content, and Apple reinstated the app. All of which took around 40 minutes. I’m in favor of acting quickly to remove CSAM from the internet, extortionist or otherwise.

I know the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, but today I’m missing working for a single employer (instead of a bunch of clients) for the fact that everyone can be aware of holidays, life circumstances, etc. without having to communicate with each client individually about it.

This news cycle out of the USA where 🎃 says something that’s obviously a lie…the lie is revealed to be a lie…and then y’all continue on waiting for the next lie… is exhausting from up here 🇨🇦. I can’t imagine how it is for folks stuck inside that loop.

I like the idea of building things with wood. But I get very anxious / overthinking about not knowing what I’m doing, not having the right tools / gear, and wasting expensive wood. This is why I like building on computers. It only costs me time, and there’s an undo button. 😝

Thanks to @brookie.blog, I get that if I post a note as my blog it will appear at the top of my blog... vs posting a note as myself doesn't. I like that distinction. People on /notes/ see both the same way-ish I gather?

The (kinda) confusing part is @pckt.blog also has Notes as a content type. So it's like a mini-social network inside of your blogging platform that's separate from what gets posted on Bluesky, for example.
