A group of scholars, many of them from Central and Eastern Europe, contributed to the excellent monograph on the rights of Roma and strategic litigation in European courts. Edited by Kristin Henrard and Lilla Farkas, the book offers many nuanced and insightful accounts of its two central themes.
Applications are now open for the EUI Writing Workshop for Public Law Scholars from Central & Eastern Europe (21–22 Sept 2026, Florence 🇮🇹). Designed for early career researchers (including PhD researchers), the workshop offers hands-on guidance on publishing in leading English-language journals.

In April of 2024, the Chapter held its annual conference at the Faculty of Law, "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu, Romania, on "Unwritten Constitutionalism and Public Law in Central and Eastern Europe".
The most recent issue of the International Journal of Constitutional Law includes the symposium "Women, Gender, and Constitutionalism in Central and Eastern Europe". Co-edited by the co-chair of the Chapter, Professor Barbara Havelkova, alongside professors Mathias Moschel and Anna Sledzinska-Simon.
