My boyfriend & I speak & text every day constantly but haven’t actually seen each other much the last few weeks (his dad had an operation) - and Instagram is THRILLED, it has unloaded every single break-up & start your life again reel all over the algorithm

Discovers his role has been pushed to non speaking background, which is less fun/less money. Sam Neil spots him looking dejected on set and finds out.
Listen I know obv Jurassic Park & Event Horizons as the big choices to watch in his honour but please may I put forward the The Dish with Sam Neill - it is just so lovely and he’s so great in it
People sometimes are incredibly cool and we should remember this and aspire toward it and fill up feeds and media with it as an elixir

Hacks and The Comeback make the dehumanisation of AI into the big plot points of their final seasons. They’re right to. Every production event etc people talk about fucking AI. it’s exhausting. But I wonder that it’s like Covid in shows ~2022/3. The reaction was exhaustion - people wanted escapism
The issue is the money being raised for tech start-up companies based on some AI glumph is insane, even though pitches are unsustainable, eg entirely dependent on OpenAI / no deep knowledge eg. film. Conversations in those rooms either at best are oblivious to this reaction, at worst encourage it

Even if you don't despise genAI as much as I do, if you're making art, it doesn't matter how nuanced you think the conversation is, and these hosts are 100% right -- the medium is the message and if you touch genAI, you're cooked.
I’m an amazing Story Editor. I will immediately find and fix all the issues with your script. 7 years experience essentially under the table. Mates etc. Two pro credits I should have had that could have helped me was Big Finish who refused & then ghosted me.

To add insult to injury, I can't prove I've done Lead Editor work in a professional setting because they refused to update my title.
This is actually amazing. I don’t really find people via Google any more. I’m looking directly at Patreons, and (urgh) LinkedIn/Instagram or inside YouTube although that is Google. And I haven’t used Google Search for anything for about a year now I think, I use Startpage or Kagi

I was with my toddler, who’s still asking about it. And a lot of signs have been swapped, from men/women to male/female. The UK isn’t just going back, it’s inventing a whole new hell.
