Revisiting this two. Recarving for a new A3 edition linocut print.

Great trip up to the summit of Ben Nevis today to continue an ongoing project; capturing the cairns that mark the route for the final bit of the ascent. The weather is incredibly changeable so it’s taken a few trips but I think my collection is now complete. Work coming soon…

Broadstairs Folk Week is in full flow, turning my hometown into a glorious folky theme park for seven days. Each year I make a print of one of the key figures, past and present, and this year I’ve added the punk to the horse, the Molly and the dragon. Set of four available.

Took this one home…

Done. Twelve colours, gradually built up here and there over a month. An edition of eighteen.

Pleased to announce a new collaborative show in Margate with my ceramicist friend and studio mate Carolina Pik. More details and behind the scenes previews soon.

I’m pretty much done with this, all bar a bit of tinkering. It’s an image of the iconic steam vent at the Lido in Cliftonville, Margate. It’s a pretty common subject for art here in Thanet but I couldn’t resist portraying it in its bescaffolded (is that a word?) state.

Very early days on a new print as part of a collaboration. More details on the way as the piece progresses.

The single colour version of my new Scenic Railway linocut print, featuring a section of the iconic wooden rollercoaster at Dreamland in Kent. The future of this wondrous structure is currently in the balance, so hats off to the various local folk fighting its corner.

A nice golden brown for the second layer of this four, maybe five, colour print of a section of the Scenic Railway at Dreamland in Margate. I’ve had this in the works for a couple of weeks so it’s a bit strange to be making it while the controversy rages about the future of this handsome thing.

Sad news that the iconic Scenic Railway wooden rollercoaster at Dreamland Margate has been retired. I’ve made a bunch of work inspired by this wondrous structure over the years and there’ll be more to come (some of it very soon!).

Today was a good day, albeit a touch nippy. Off Skervoy, Arctic Norway. It’ll take me a while to process this one.
