Who is the fictional character you relate to? I'll be greedy and take four, one for each of my favourite franchises. I'm generally unlucky (but win BIG when it really matters) and distrustful of authority. Nerdy at work and in life. Tender and caring with my loved ones, but radioactive to assholes.
Who is the fictional character you relate to the most? I also say Rey. No one can define who you are besides yourself. You can create your own path between who you want to be. You’re not your bloodline. That resonates deeply with me. Also, her strength, resilience and compassion resonates with me
TIL of an American James Bond knock-off 'Remo Williams', made in 1985 by an actual Bond director Guy Hamilton. Williams has a mentor / sidekick named Chiun, a Korean master of the anicent martial art Sinanju. And this Chiun fella is somehow played by... Joel Grey. Yes, the emcee from Cabaret.
Went to a local bar tonight and met this wonderful tiny boi.
This might sound pretentious, but I always felt like Terrence Malick's latest films visualized a sort of divine, free-flowing, all-connecting presence that's very similar to The Force. So, when I think about it, I usually think of this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=NM3E...

When you think of "The Force" what's the first single image that comes to mind? #StarWars
There are so many different audiences for different movies and there's no magical rule to follow to get a hit and anyone who claims to know the rule is a grifter.
In retrospect, it's a small miracle that Tony Gilroy had Chapek commit to a two-season order for Andor, and Iger only returned a day before Andor S2 entered production. Were it a few weeks earlier, they would've shut it down, too. variety.com/2026/tv/news...

Heads up, my friends from abroad! Very soon you'll finally get a chance to see one of the finest films (and boldest adaptations) of the past few years. Part gothic romance, part jazzy retrofuturist dystopia, part social satire that feels all too timely today.
New trailer for 'The Master and Margarita' Based on the acclaimed fantasy and satirical novel about the Devil wreaking havoc in Soviet Moscow, written while author Mikhail Bulgakov was being censored Releasing in the US September 18
Been playing a lot of #PitDroids lately. It's a very 1999 feeling, being bullied by a kids game for how bad at math I am.
A small (but very loud) emerald guest decided to crash into my apartment today.
Turns out workshopping reasons why something didn’t resonate with me other than “they don’t like you, the universe’s most special boy” is worthwhile.
I think I'm finally at a point where I'm just exhausted by the current movie discourse. Like, the entirety of it. The Odyssey. Disclosure Day. Shawn Levy somehow being branded the worst filmmaker alive. People these days seem so completely... unresponsive to art, its many beautiful hows and whys.

Finally got to see Radu Jude's #Dracula, and it is my civic duty to inform you that not only does this hilarious film satirize modernity (and specifically genAI) cannibalizing and commodifying stories of the past. It also features a novella about a field of dicks.
Is this the first superhero trilogy ever, where each movie has a new protagonist picking up the mantle?
SDCC ‘26: David Jonsson is the MCU’s new BLACK PANTHER Ryan Coogler will direct Black Panther 3, hitting theaters in December 2028.
Watching the Russian dub of #TheOdyssey (the only one available in IMAX), I was worried how they might treat Elliot Page's appearance. Pretty much every CIS country has some form of anti-queer legislation. And yet: 1) His role is not edited down at all 2) He's dubbed by an unambiguously male voice
For all the (frankly idiotic) discourse, I wouldn't be surprised if #TheOdyssey actually wins an Oscar for Best Costumes at the end of the year. An expressive, striking, simply astonishing work!
Oh, that's a really cool visual!
Watch the new trailer for CLAYFACE. In theaters October 23. Matt Hagen’s rise from street kid to Hollywood leading man is cut short when he's left disfigured. Matt seeks out a treatment that spirals him down a destructive path of revenge.
It's a common joke that Jessica Chastain and Bryce Dallas Howard look alike. But this poster is the first time I couldn't possibly tell you which one is it. #OtherMother
Look, I'm a simple man. The big thing I love about the Avengers movies is its crossover nature: unexpected team-ups, rivalries, banter. I'd appreciate a compelling narrative, too, of course. But give me those superpowered magic battles!
Gambit vs Shang-Chi in ‘Avengers: Doomsday'
I believe, they meant "Avengers", but instead came up with "Autumn's Tits". (further exacerbated by Sienna Miller pronouncing it as "Austom Stitch") #JackRyanGhostWar
I read elsewhere that Zendaya's Athena is portrayed almost like Odysseus's imaginary friend. Personally, I really dig this kind of "modernized" depiction of gods, rooted in personal faith and experiences. The point is not in them guiding the heroes, but in heroes *believing* that they do.
Christopher Nolan’s Homer adaptation presents a modern, relatable Odysseus, rather than trying to understand the ancient world on its own terms. www.newyorker.com/magazine/202...
Been gradually progressing through #DRAMAticalMurder since 2024, and am now back on my bullshit again. Time for Route 4!
Dune 3 🤝 The Batman 2 Yes, you actually *can* replace Greig Fraser. Not saying you should, but, turns out, it's not impossible.

What, and I cannot emphasize this enough, the FUCK is this?
First look at John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein’s ‘MAYDAY’, starring Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh. The thriller follows a navy pilot stranded in Russia who forms an unlikely alliance with an ex-KGB agent. Releasing September 4 on Apple TV. #Mayday #RyanReynolds #KennethBranagh
This is gonna be either the funniest or the most insufferable film of 2026. No middle ground possible.
Watch the first trailer for Alejandro G. Iñárritu's Digger, starring Tom Cruise, John Goodman, Sandra Hüller, Riz Ahmed and Jesse Plemons 👀 In theaters October 2.
Not sure what movie y'all saw or whether I'm missing something, but I thought #AfterTheHunt was terrific. Impeccably edited, cleverly staged, gorgeously designed. Written with acid and empathy in equal measure. Probably Reznor/Ross's most unnerving score since The Social Network.
