I just had a thought: I could play any Pokemon game in Korean now and learn all of their Korean names! I'm already flummoxed by Charmander's Korean name. It's 파이리, and you say it like " Pah-ee-ree." I think the "pah" sounds are from the word for fire, and the rest of it is from the word for lizard?

New Fire Emblem game looks wild! Baffled that the firearms are somehow magical gauntlets, though. Why aren't they categorized as ranged weapons like a bow?

I might call my psych doctor's emergency line tomorrow because I don't have a prescription for any kind of anxiety medication and I think I need some quite badly in this time in my life. I'm autistic and I don't process hard emotions well so I'm just crying and rocking back and forth.

I just had to talk myself down from a full blown panic attack by naming things I can see and feel around me. I just need someone to come cuddle me and pat my hair or something. My bff doesn't do hugs so I think that would be weird. My one friend who would cuddle me lives 8 hours away.

I've been sick for 9 days, I think? It feels like so much longer. I'm feeling better but still coughing and stuffy, a little fevery. My dad's feeling lots better. My mom is still in the hospital, but she might be able to come home in a few days. She has some kind of extra pneumonia that's stubborn.

I may be very ill, but I can still make a mean yellow rice. It's so good. 😭 I'm making myself eat the other foods on my plate (I desperately need vegetables) but all I want is this delicious rice.

My sinuses are so stuffy that my hearing is muffled. It's truly so annoying.

It's so weird being so sick but also my pain is less than normal. My immune system is so busy fighting off the virus that it doesn't have much time to attack the rest of my body like it usually does. Feels strange.

Apparently I haven't done laundry in a hot minute. I had to dip into my backup stash of underoos!

We've gotten to the point in having covid where I have cabin fever. I want to get out of the house. I'll have to pretend my backyard is "not the house" so that counts for something. I've been in the house for a whole week straight now. But I'm still not well, so I must stay away from others.

I just saw there's a Persona 4 Revival Collector's Edition that's $250. Jeeeeeesus.

Everyone's been so nice while my family and I have been sick. 😭 I feel like some kind of anchorite where people drop things off for me while I wave at them through the window.

What is up with every single Kpop group doing little sailor costumes lately?! It feels like absolutely everyone is doing them. I can name at least 5 groups right off the top of my head that I've seen wearing them in the past few days.

I've watched so much Lord of the Rings in the past couple of days. The trilogy is like my dad's comfort movie(s) so he's had them on a lot while we're sick. I walk through the living room and just start quoting along with whatever's on the screen. 🎶To catch a fish So juicy sweeeeeeet🎶

I've gone through so much apple juice while being sick. IDK what it is, but I can't get enough apple juice. I'm drinking water and gatorade, but apple juice is the only thing to quench my thirst.

Yesterday was not a good sick day for me or dad. We both basically slept all day except to eat some soup. Today I felt well enough to half-ass change my sheets. And I had to clean up yard trash because a bear got in my trash can! The bear was at least kind enough to only make a very small mess.
