AIPAC is the biggest source of Republican money in Democratic elections, and now they are making clear they will spend even more to defeat Democrats in November. They advocate for policies the vast majority of Democrats viscerally disagree with. No Democrat should be taking money from AIPAC.

NEW: AIPAC signaling plans to spend for Republican Mike Rogers in #MISen

"Our members remain determined to ensure that voters reject Dr. El-Sayed and his radical anti-Israel agenda in November."

Americans across the political spectrum, including clear majorities of independents and Democrats, don’t just want to end weapons giveaways to Israel, but want to end our ruinous alliance with Israel itself. Read more from IMEU Policy Project’s policy director Josh Ruebner:

Israel Is Losing Support But Ending Taxpayer-Funded Weapons Isn’t Enough

From enjoying a once seemingly unassailable position of broad bipartisan support in the United States, the American people have decisively soured on Israel, horrified and repelled by the reality that ...

“Why is Israel so central to US politics?” There is a clear answer: Because for nearly three years, millions of Americans have watched Israel commit a livestreamed genocide against Palestinians that was only made possible by our tax dollars.

Haley Stevens’ biggest donor? AIPAC. Maybe that’s why Stevens was just one of 12 Democrats to vote with Republicans to send over $14 billion of our tax dollars for weapons for Israel to commit genocide. Michigan, reject Haley Stevens next Tuesday.

American voters increasingly know what a candidate taking money from AIPAC means: more of their tax dollars and weapons for Israel to kill civilians, and destroy schools and hospitals, instead of funding their own neighborhoods and families.

NEW: Do Democrats funded by AIPAC pay an electoral penalty in a general election? We find that a Democrat funded by AIPAC performs significantly worse against a Republican than a Democrat who “rejects all outside financial support from industry groups and PACs.”

"In a Matchup Against a Republican, a Democrat Funded by AIPAC Underperforms a Democrat Who Rejects Outside PAC Money."

In this experiment, respondents were shown hypothetical general election matchups between a Republican and a Democratic candidate, both with a randomized source of outside funding. The chart shows how each funding source affects a Democratic candidate's average performance relative to a Democratic candidate who "rejects all financial support from outside industry groups and PACs."

Planned Parenthood funding is associated with a +1.8pp effect. No organization in US history has ever spent more in a single year’s congressional elections than the $45 million AIPAC and its super PAC, United Democracy Project, spent in 2024. Joining them were millions in donations from Democratic Majority For Israel.

The last time Netanyahu was here, he lobbied Trump to start a disastrous war that has cost the American people over $100 billion. He is still overseeing the ongoing genocide in Gaza and refuses to end his illegal invasion of Lebanon.

I am heading out now to a meeting with our friend, President Donald Trump—this is our eighth meeting since he was elected to his second term, more than with any other international leader. This is a great honor, and it is also a great responsibility.

In our meeting, we will discuss all the issues on the table, with Iran at the forefront. Our goal is clear: to safeguard Israel's security, strengthen its power, and expand the circle of peace around us.

I am embarking on this mission out of a deep commitment to ensure the security, strength, and future of the State of Israel.

During the visit, I will also pay my last respects to a true friend of mine and of the State of Israel, Senator Lindsey Graham—one of Israel's greatest friends of all time.

I am certain that in doing so, I represent the feelings of all Israeli citizens.

With God's help, we will do and we will succeed! 🇮🇱

Thank you to Representative Jennifer McClellan for cosponsoring the Block The Bombs Act! Instead of continuing to be complicit in Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza, Congress ought to stand with the American public which overwhelmingly wants to see Israel held accountable for its crimes.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani in his address at the Nelson Mandela Global Leadership Forum: “Why must we wait until a thousand more parents bury in their children? Until even more lose their limbs, their homes, their futures, to come together and insist on Palestinian freedom?“

The ICJ has ruled that Israel is committing the crime of apartheid - a determination also reached by Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and Israeli human rights organization B’Tselem - and that all nations must end military funding to Israel immediately.

Q: Yes or no, do you consider Israel an apartheid state?
Gavin Newsom: I said that was directional as it relates to what Friedman was arguing about the West, the annexation of the West Bank, so no.
But in the context of his pursuit and the hard and the far right, I align with that concern and that thinking that was expressed very pointedly by Friedman.

In just two years, support for Palestinian rights has skyrocketed from 39% up to 57% with older Democrats. 62% of all Democrats now say the US should be more supportive of Palestinian rights. The direction voters are headed is clear - and our elected officials need to listen.

AIPAC is planning to spend 10z of millions of dollars over the next two months, on top of an already record breaking $38 million, on congressional races across the country. But not one cent is being spent on ads that actually mention Israel because being in favor of genocide is a losing issue.

Israeli President Herzog is cited in the active genocide case against Israel for justifying the slaughter of Palestinian civilians in Gaza. Anyone “honored” to meet him has no business leading our country.

It was an honor to meet with
@Isaac_Herzog
in Jerusalem today. I've known him for many years, and he is a good man of principle who deeply values the alliance between Israel and the United States.

Neither security nor peace can be built on the recriminations or repeated failures of the past. That approach has failed both Israelis and Palestinians alike.

The Arab world's desire for regional stability, Israel's need for security, and the Palestinian people's desire for self-determination can be brought together in a historic agreement. That is the path forward, one that respects the aspirations and interests of all sides, with responsibility required by all sides.

Thank you Rep McGarvey for becoming the 76th cosponsor of the Block The Bombs Act! After more than 1000 days of Israel's ongoing genocide in Gaza, it is more important than ever to finally enforce US and international law and prevent Israel from using US-made weapons to massacre civilians.

Since March, Israel's illegal invasion and occupation of Lebanon has systematically undermined every chance for peace. Thousands of civilians have been killed and over a million have been forced from their homes, all with US support.

Tomorrow, I will force another vote to end U.S. participation in the Israeli apartheid regime's campaign of ethnic cleansing and territorial expansion in Lebanon.
Over 4,250 people have been massacred. Twelve children are killed or maimed every day as these U.S.-backed war crimes continue.
Congress must vote to end U.S. support for these atrocities and force an end to Israel's invasion and illegal military occupation of Lebanese territory.

Israel’s genocidal leadership is proudly saying that they want to ethnically cleanse, occupy, and illegally annex Lebanese land. All of this is going on with the US government’s support. Congress can put a stop to it by passing Rashida Tlaib’s Lebanon War Powers Resolution tomorrow.
