Hello! 👋 We've been gone for a while. There are good reasons as to why, life being the primary focus, but that also means not a lot of work has been put into development of Just Keep Running. That changes now... Stay tuned to this space 🤫❤️

And they say that two legends cannot coexist. I bet they feel stupid now. 😎

Can't believe it... Just Keep Running 2.6.0 IS OUT! 🥳 🎉 - "Color Adjustment" Accessibility setting - Big UI updates to Settings and Upgrades - Smaller adjustments and BTS stuff ;) imiself.itch.io/jkr/devlog/8...

2024 has been a year of personal growth for me and my company. 2024 has also been a very conflicted and sometimes scary year for a lot of us. So I wanted to talk to y'all a bit about this year and our plans for the next one. Happy new year, and hope to see y'all in 2025! :D youtu.be/UHooWwxRVSw

FYI: The @imiself.se Discord is for the community, where we can hang out and have fun. It is NOT for doing business with me. DO NOT join the Discord just to DM me out of the blue about business stuff. It's weird, unprofessional, and uncomfortable. We have an email for that: hello@imiself.se

Throwback to earlier in the year when OUR GAME WAS ON THE STEAM NEXT FEST LIVE STREAM! 🤩🤩🤩 I was in a call with my friends watching the stream, and we all collectively yelled with joy when it appeared :D

University life has kept us busy, but we are cooking some stuff! Q1 Next year, expect some... juicy announcements. Less radio silence, that's for sure 🤭

Our Discord has a Challenge channel for our game Just Keep Running! Here's Vic trying to escape from the Level 1-1 Kitchen :D #gaming #indiegame #gamedev

For Thursday, a simple yet important tip. Tweaking is key 🔑 Here's Victor to explain how Tweaking lead to the player controller we have in our game Just Keep Running! :D #gaming #indiegame #gamedev

Initially, jumping down the catwalk in Level 1-3 wasn't meant to be possible, but shoutouts to the ✨speedrunners and playtesters✨ for finding a way. It's an easter egg now, cause why get rid of it and ruin the fun? :P #gaming #indiegame #gamedev

Always love polishing up features and adding small, but useful stuff ☺️ For example, when we polished Time Trials so that the UI shows the cause of death, and also audibly/visually warns you when time is running low :D #gamedev #indiegame #gaming

I keep getting vivid flashbacks to when the coffee tables could clip you out of the world... the nightmares! 😨 #gaming #indiegame #gamedev

Our game is all about speed, smarts, and parkour. ...I might've practiced a lil bit! :P Please check out the Chapter 1 & 2 Demo for Just Keep Running here! ➤➤ bit.ly/jkrSteam #gaming #indiegame #gamedev

Giving options can be a great thing! :D In Just Keep Running, the walljump count shows up as a fullscreen effect, but this can be intrusive to some. Instead of being fullscreen, you can also have a smaller, less intrusive modal that appears at the top of the screen! 😁 #gamedev #indiegame #gaming

We almost WON Game of The Year at the LBS Game Awards! Here's Victor (@vswede.bsky.social) to tell that story :D #gaming #indiegame #gamedev

Wow... from a small project to pass the time in class in late 2022, to something much bigger in just 2 years is WILD 🤯 #indiegame #gamedev #gaming

Good Tutorials are HARD to make. Here's a story about making the Tutorial level for our game Just Keep Running! (which you can check out here: imiself.se/games/just-k...) #gaming #indiegame #gamedev

Here's how the Dynamic Music System in our game Just Keep Running works! 🎵🔊 We used FMOD to create a simple and effective "Intensity State" system that transitions the music based on in-game events. More details below! 🧵 #indiegame #gamedev #gameaudio

📢 ALT TEXT PSA Game Devs. Quick nudge to say that adding alt-text to images and videos is very much the norm on Bluesky. Outside of the obvious accessibility/inclusion win, some folks have their feeds set up so your posts won't even show up on their feed unless it has alt-text Spread the word 👍🏻

@vswede.bsky.social is a game dev first, but he tried his very best to make the spaces in our game look as clean and stylish as possible! 😊❤️ #gamedev #indiegame #voxelart

Sup, Bluesky. 👋 Meet my game! :D

Hi, Bluesky. Meet my game!

@ozone.birb.house We're a Game Studio and Publisher, would love some labels. Cheers! :D

This is factually correct ☝️🤓
