Wait I'm having issues w IG, and now I'm seeing Bsky is having issues now with adult content. Is this the beginning of the end of Impyeu? ๐ตโ๐ซ
Instagram is being weird and I can't log in:( If things don't go right, I might have to permanently move here...

one thing I didn't anticipate in becoming a full-time freelance artist is having a fucked up sleep schedule. like wdym I took a nap at 4 PM and woke up at 11 PM ๐
To say Iโm obsessed and in love with this cover is such an understatement ๐ฅน. The amazingly talented @impyeu.bsky.social took my pastel cottagecore idea and turned it into this magical wonderland of my dreams ๐ฅฐ. ARC signups and pre0rder on www.ellesterling.com
my IG feed rn looks like my two sides fighting for the spotlight ๐๐ธ๐ท๐ vs. ๐๐ค๐๐

A close-up look at this pretty commissioned book cover artwork I made for Maggie Maren's Yule with the Wild God ๐ Literally the perfect book to pick up this season โ๏ธ Painting snowy mountains might be my favorite thing to do tbh๐ป ft. @alascaux.bsky.social 's comment at the end ๐
I just realized that when I read books, I visualize scenes and characters like an animated movie in my art style. No wonder I always get the urge to draw bookish fan art ๐ตโ๐ซ
Here's the detailed book cover I painted for Skyla Gray's The Revenant's Heart (Monster Research Facility 2)! โค๏ธโ๐ฉน๐ง Currently listening to the audiobook [after reading the book a few months ago] ๐คฉ๐
I said I'd continue working on a commissioned artwork for 30 mins before doing an errand. Ended up locking in for 3 hours and finishing it ๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธ

worked on โจsfwโจ art comms at a cafe today. the pressure of people sneaking glances and judging my art made me finish 2 pieces ridiculously fast. thanks, random strangers! ๐๐ผ
last December, I could finish comms in 2 days to a week. I would immediately start working on projects without rest. Three months later, I had to get my neglected wrist checked. Artists, please take your time and take rests every two days or so. And wear a wrist support brace when working! โฃ๏ธ
first original artwork I'm really proud of in a very very long time ๐ซถ๐ผ๐ง๐พโโ๏ธ๐ธ Full ver on P๐treon!

primal chase scenes in books make me go "damn I'd rather just sit down and give up, I'm not running" ๐ญโ๐ผ (love them in theory though)
My first newsletter will have uncensored versions of these bad boys ๐๐
