Joanna Whaley won her Democratic primary and will compete in November for a state house seat, beating a primary opponent who tried and failed to disqualify her for not running under her deadname

It’s fucking gross to mock Cori Bush for "the Capitol steps with her Cheez-Its." She was sleeping outside the Capitol to pressure Congress and Biden to extend the COVID eviction moratorium after it expired, protecting millions of renters from eviction. Bush herself had experienced homelessness.

i know we dont have the resources to be everywhere and i know Michigan and Wisconsin are big opportunities but im pissed about this Cori Bush deserves better from us

yes this is crazy but when i read that book and talked about it with my grandpa (who was a B52 mechanic in WWII), i found out he was a mechanic for the high altitude spy planes that were being tested in Alaska. My grandma told us about receiving letters from him with redactions. So that was cool
